Drvodjelac, Ltd., in Ivanec is a renowned and recognized
business on the wood processing industry market.
The beginning of the company date in 1949, when within
the Agricultural Cooperative in Ivanec, a work unit
for manufacturing construction carpentry with 20 employees
was formed. The employees were mostly carpenters.
In the beginning of the 90s, the company was privatised,
and the Marković family, with the help of expert and
qualified employees, successfully manages and develops
the company. Drvodjelac has more than 200 employees,
their own vehicle fleet, their own drying capacity
the size of 600 m3, closed conditioning halls the size
of 2500 m2, covered warehouse space the size of 1600
m2, business production space the size of 3500 m2.
We can say that Drvodjelac is one of the leading wood
processing companies in the northwest Croatia and beyond.
Since 2004, as a part of Drvodjelac, Ltd., a saw mill
in Bednja starts operation, in which around 25,000
m3 of logs is processed per year. The saw mill is located
in a 17,000 m2 space, and within the saw mill, there
are tailoring and construction carpentry machinery.
There is a wide palette of products made by the company.
With the already mentioned construction carpentry,
as well as wood strip flooring and wall cladding, the
primary product of our company is the solid wood board.
The boards are made of width gluing the thin plates
and length and width gluing the thin plates. The most
represented are boards made out of beech, but boards
are also made out of European alder, fir tree and juniper,
walnut tree, ash tree, cherry tree and other types
of trees. The boards are 18 – 50 mm thick, up to 1300
mm wide and 5000 mm long. We also manufacture custom
stair treads, by buyer request, balcony fences made
of solid wood, semi – round logs, and we have recently
started manufacturing furniture for a renowned foreign
buyer, solid wood beds, closets, dressers and solid
wood tables.
By acquiring quality logs and wood elements, their
warehousing and drying, we can guarantee high quality
of our products, which resulted in us exporting 97%
of production into western European countries and beyond.

of our products and services, with the simultaneous

of quality and environment, in accordance with the
